You may have heard that LeBron James just moved past Michael Jordan for fourth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, trailing only Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. What you may not have noticed, however, is that he did it while rocking a special homage to MJ himself.
For the special occasion, Nike hooked King James up with a special Air Jordan 3—inspired take on the LeBron 16. The creation — which resembles Kobe's coveted Lakers-coloured PE from back in the day — features clear AJ3-inspired colour blocking throughout, and even swaps out the iconic elephant print in favour of a graffiti graphic on both the heel and toe. The heel also sports classic Nike Air branding, while the Dunkman logo shows up on the tongue in yellow.
There's currently no concrete release info for the kicks, but we wouldn't be surprised if these got a limited #LeBronWatch drop.
