Leaked: Is This the adidas UltraBOOST 5.0?

The next evolution of the all-conquering could be just around the corner, with a leaked pic of a potential 5.0 model recently shared by sneaker source 2muchsol3.

It’s the first look of the UltraBOOST’s fifth generation that we’ve seen, and it appears that Team Trefoil are making some big changes to the low-profile runner for the new year. Since its debut 2015, the UltraBOOST has only seen minor cosmetic updates — most notably in the knit pattern of its Primeknit upper. However, it looks like the 5.0 will have a totally different midfoot cage and heel counter, as well as an updated knit pattern.

No confirmation from adidas as yet, but there’s certainly more to play out in this tale. We’ll keep you posted.
