Leaked: Is There A Laceless SF AF-1 In The Works?

Nike Sf Air Force 1 High 1Nike Sf Air Force 1 High 1

Since its debut in November 2016, the SF Air Force 1 has established itself as a durable yet fashionable utility boot. We've since seen the Swoosh tinker with its construction to increase its wearability, resulting in . However, Nike look set to take the Special Field Air Force 1 back to its original height with the rumoured release of a high-top white 'Tiger Camo' colourway.

Judging by an image leaked by wopsole, the new SF Air Force 1 discards its velcro straps and braided para-cord clip in favour of one big front zip. There's no traditional lacing system to be found on these statement makers; instead, a rope wraps its way around the ankle and knots at the back in fashion sure to impress the most highly skilled boy scout. Bold 'AF1' lettering runs up the collar, and the grey and white camo design stays true to the military aesthetic of the early SF AF1s.

There's no word from Nike on when these shoes are dropping, but rumour has it that this snowy camo colourway will be ready in time for the Northern Hemisphere's winter. We'll keep you posted as further release information emerges.
