Hold on to your DualShocks, Sony fans — another PlayStation x Nike colab is on the way! Hot on the heels of the limited edition Air Force 1 and PG 2 make-ups that released earlier in the year, notorious sneaker leaker py_rates is reporting that Nike have a third tribute to the gaming juggernaut in the works for 2018.
Nike's design team has finessed Paul George's latest Swoosh silhouette, the PG 2.5, for the occasion. In contrast to the PG 2 'PlayStation' that dropped back in January, which featured a decidedly dark colour scheme, a mock-up of the PG 2.5 shows it to feature a white and grey colourway that appears to channel the original PlayStation console from the mid 90s. Like the PG 2, the concept depicts a multicolour-splattered midsole and red Swooshes. Of course, the real deal could differ.
Also, no word if the PG 2.5 also copies the PG 2 make-up's signature light-up tongue tags.
*LEAK ALERT*: @Nike x @PlayStation are back with their 3rd shoe of the year. This time the the duo will be working on the PG 2.5.
The pair will be dropping in a White/Multi Colour colourway and is expected to drop late Oct/Nov.
