Kith's Ronnie Fieg has taken to Twitter to preview a model from the Kith x adidas Soccer Season 2 collection. Fresh off working with Nike on a clutch basketball collection, Fieg's now demonstrating he's got power on the pitch, too.
The Three Stripes have kicked the Nemeziz Tango 17.1 over to Kith, and they're scoring goals with this colab. The model was only released by adidas in May this year, marking a departure from the trusty classics – like the Air Pippen 1 and the Chuck Taylor All Star – that Kith have retroed in recent months.
The Nemeziz Tango 17.1 takes design cues from the model Lionel Messi wears on-field, but its comfy Torsion sole makes it streetwear-ready. According to adidas, the panelling on the upper is inspired by boxing wraps. And Kith sure packs a punch with this pink iteration of the Tango, spreading heavy branded text all over the panels.
We can't help but notice the similarities this Nemeziz bears to April's Kith x adidas Ace 16+ UltraBOOST: the brands obviously think this pink shade is 'pitch perfect'.
No word yet on a release date, but we'll be sure to let you know as further info rolls in.
