King James’ Lebron 15 ‘Equality’ was one of the most sought-after basketball shoes of last season. Initially thought to be a PE, 200 pairs were eventually raffled for charity to spread James’ message of unity.
In 2019, a monochrome LeBron 16 will keep spreading the word, and it’s needed now more than ever. Calling back to LeBron’s on-court reveal in 2017, one shoe is black and one white, while each employs the opposite colour on the laces.
From early looks, they don’t seem to carry the gold embroidered ‘Equality’ of the 15s, but the tongue wears debossed scales of justice to further the cause.
