The sneaker world erupted into a frenzy this past January when that he had official collaboration with in the works. Speculation instantly followed as to what the union between the Jumpman and the Brooklyn-based artist – real name Brian Donnelly – would bring. Earlier this month we got our first look at the eagerly-awaited colab thanks to , but now we finally have an official look.

While lacking in colour, this special edition of the is brimming with details. The upper is constructed entirely from premium grey suede – even replacing the AJ4's usual TPU components – which has been subtly embroidered all over with KAWS' Companion character. KAWS' signature 'XX' logo adorns the heel in place of the standard Jumpman or Nike Swoosh. Down below, more artwork can be found beneath the translucent outsole – which also glows in the dark. Additional KAWS branding and details can be found on the leather insole, hangtag behind the tongue, on the box and even on the lace tips – each printed with an 'X'.

The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 is tentatively set for release on March 31, but we'll keep you updated once they are set in stone. Either way, expect this release to be anything but an easy cop!
