Karhu love is a little lacking in the sneaker scene, so here's another tasty helping of Euro trainer goodness. In 1996, the Finnish sportswear manufacturer hit it big in the running scene with the Fusion. Deciding to revise the model for the Legend Collection, Karhu removed the rose-tinted glasses and approached the shoe with fresh eyes. Seeing room for improvement, they brought back the Fusion's original designer to make a retro that one-ups the OG while still remaining true to form. By tweaking the sole unit and adjusting the measurements on the upper, the result is a 2.0 incarnation of the bold runner that streamline's the Fusion while still retaining the original's defining details, like the tongue label and rubberised collar print. To commemorate the occasion, Karhu are debuting the shoe in a pack inspired by the warm tones of the fall foliage that coats Saana mountain – a popular hiking destination in Northern Finland. The 'Mount Saana' pack comes in three colourways, each constructed from a mix of pig skin suede and water-resistant leather. Equipped with hiking laces and camouflage laces, the trail-blazing roots of these cross-country runners shines proud. The Fusion 2.0 'Mount Saana' Pack will release on November 11th at Karhu stockists worldwide.
