UPDATE: Detailed pictures of the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 in ‘Arctic Orange’ have surfaced, allowing us to get up close and personal with these peachy treats. The accents on this quilted sneaker contribute to its luxe vibe, with ‘Just Don’ and Nike branding both embossed and inserted across the tongue, heel and insole. Touches of rich raspberry complement the tonal orange-pink body of the sneaker, and subtle gold touches finish it all off with class.
The Just Don x Air Jordan in 'Arctic Orange' will be available in women's, grade school and toddler sizing on May 13. You can cop a pair from select Jordan retailers, including UBIQ, but get in quick – it's looking to be a red-hot release.
This confirms it – 'Arctic Orange' is officially in this summer! Just Don have revealed their latest rendition of the Air Jordan 2, this time selecting the pale peach hue for their now-annual makeover of Michael Jordan's second signature sneaker. Like the brand's previous renditions of the AJ2, the shoe features a monochromatic colour scheme, premium quilted upper and just a touch of gold for that hit of decadence.
Putting his family first, brand mastermind Don C has chosen to release the shoes exclusively in toddler, kid's and women's sizing. 'My family couldn’t participate in the last couple of Jordan releases so it felt good to allow them to take part,' he explains. 'This collaboration is not only for my blood family but my extended family – all my friends.'
Don C himself is pictured wearing the colab in accompanying photographs, which could be an indication that a release in men's sizing may follow at a later date – especially with him explaining this drop as an opportunity to 'expand [his] Jordan collaboration to everyone.' Fingers crossed.
The Just Don x Air Jordan 2 'Arctic Orange' will release on May 13 through a handful of top-tier Jordan Brand stockists, including UBIQ. Pairs will also be available through Just Don's website. It looks like numbers are extremely tight on this release, so prepare for an instant sell-out!
