UPDATE: The release of the Jordan Trunner LX 'BHM' is now only days away. For those Jordan heads out there eagerly awaiting the silhouette's big retro return, we have an up-close look care of Politics. If you need one more reason to add to cart, it's worth remembering that every release in the 2017 'BHM' collection contributes to Nike's Ever Higher Fund that supports youths and their communities.
Out of all the silhouettes in the 2017 'BHM' Collection, no inclusion was more surprising than the Jordan Trunner. An early trainer/runner hybrid from 2000, the Trunner came as an obscure addition the Jordan Brand line-up – albeit, one that has developed a cult following over the years. The dual-strapped sneaker merged the woven construction of the Air Jordan 15 – its contemporary at the time – with neoprene panelling for equal parts style and comfort. Like this year's other BHM releases, the Trunner is coloured up in a combination of black, white and lustrous gold. Reflective 3M accents have also been added for low-light stunting.
The Jordan Trunner 'BHM' will hit Nike.com and select Jumpman stockists on February 11.
