Jordan Brand's Laterally Laced Rebel Rocks 'Siltstone'
Back when designer Tory Orzeck pitched lateral lacing to , they weren’t sold on it. Orzeck had to reframe his tech as less of a stylistic and orthopaedic development, and more of a performance enhancement, telling Nike that the quirky lacing system would battle over pronation to get them over the line.
Now, the Swoosh seem to have changed their tune, as this adopts lateral lacing for form only — although we’re sure it wouldn’t hurt to aid pigeon-toed mall shoppers — and comes dressed in smooth ‘Siltstone’ and black.
