As if the upcoming retro of the '' wasn't enough to pump up  fans, reputable rumours suggest we'll also be treated to a long-unreleased AJ3 sample.

Images of a clear-soled variation of the OG 'White Cement' AJ3 started doing the rounds online in the early 2000s before fading into obscurity. It's long been thought the shoe was scrapped, but word has it that it's finally hit production, over a decade after it first leaked!

Early images show the sample to be the same as the 'White Cement' with the exception of its stand-out clear outsole. According to Twitter user  @_PO2345, the release will also feature insole graphics that celebrate the 30th anniversary of 1988 NBA Dunk Contest that White Cement-wearing Michael Jordan won with a now-legendary slam dunk from the free throw line. The 2018 tribute is expected to feature OG Nike Air branding like the upcoming 'Black Cement retro.

Nothing is official at this stage, but it’s likely we’ll see the Air Jordan 3 'Clear Sole' release around NBA All-Star Weekend in late February. Stay tuned for updates.
