The FIBA Basketball World Cup kicks off at the end of this month, and Jordan Brand are celebrating with a four-part collection exclusive to Greater China. In it, is an Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 33, and Jordan Jumpman Diamond.
The 33 and 12 have ‘Love the Game’ spelt in Chinese characters, while the Diamond flips to English with ‘For the Love of the Game’ on the inside of the tongue. While Jordan Brand’s Senior Design Director David Cin notes that the Air Jordan 12 is particularly poignant as it was the first game shoe to release in China, it’s the Air Jordan 4 that steals the show. Crimson spills over its leather uppers, while the mesh section is replaced with graphics inspired by the FIBA teams’ national flags.
If you’re looking to cop, you’ll likely need to find a proxy – these drop in Greater China on August 12.
