We've seen a multitude of Air Jordan 5 leaks these past few months while patiently awaiting official word from Jordan Brand. We need wait no more – the Jumpman has finally confirmed that each of the five make-ups we've seen leaked this year are on their way. Better still, Jordan Brand are diving deep into the archives on the apparel front and resurrecting Jordan's signature Flight Suit in an assortment of colourways.
- The first AJ5 colourway is the Air Jordan 5 'Flight Pack West', previously dubbed 'Red Suede', which will be hitting stores July 1.
- Next out the gate will be the AJ5 Pinnacle 'Black/Black' on July 8, which adds a touch of class to the hardwood silhouette with its premium leather upper and ribbed panelling.
- Flicking forward through the calendar, the AJ5 'Cement' will release on August 5, drawing inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 'White Cement'.
- Jordan Brand have two final make-ups in store for September, with the AJ5 'Camo' – a nod to the model's fighter jet design inspiration – dropping on the 2nd and the AJ5 'Flight Pack East', previously dubbed 'Blue Suede', releasing on the 30th.
To match the kicks, four different Flight Suits have also been created. Consisting of zip-up jacket and pants, these lightweight warm-up suits stay true to AJ5's 1990 origins with period-correct retro styling. The colourways consist of blue with black accents, red with black, black with red and white with black.
The Air Jordan 5 'Flight Pack West', 'Cement', 'Camo' and 'Flight Pack East' will release through NDC and Jordan Brand stockists. The Air Jordan 5 Pinnacle 'Black/Black' will release through NDC and selected top-tier stockists. No release date has been announced for the new selection of Jordan Flight Suits, but these are expected to release alongside the corresponding Air Jordan 5 colourways.
