Jordan Brand Honour Russell Westbrook’s Triple Double Record

April 19, 2017

Russell Westbrook is well and truly on one this season. So much so that in the recent Oklahoma City Thunder versus the Denver Nuggets match, he broke the single-season record for triple-doubles and then rounded out the performance by sinking a three-point buzzer-beater to win the game. In recognition of their star player’s achievements, The Jumpman have honoured Westbrook with a Jordan PE pack like no other.

The pack answers question we had about the previously seen Air Jordan XXXI hybrid, and pairs it with an Air Jordan 3. Both sneakers have the famed ‘Elephant’ detailing, met with large amounts of black on the uppers and flourishes of blue and orange that reference OKC. Westbrook’s ‘Why Not’ mantra is repeated on the insoles and then writ large across the translucent outsole of the XXXI hybrid.

Given that these one of one PEs commemorate a special moment in Westbrook’s career, there’s every chance he’ll be keeping them box-fresh – so lap up the view now before these slink away into legend.
