Landing a Player Edition sneaker is a dream for most sneakerheads. It's an honour typically reserved for only the best of the best in professional sports, but 10 young ballers have broken convention and received their own PEs while still in high school.
The lucky seniors from New Orleans were each gifted PE versions of the Air Jordan 3 'Katrina,' customised with their initials as part of Jordan Brand's Wings program. An image of the pairs was shared on Instagram by Jordan Brand's Frank Cooker. The customisation mimics a 2003 PE made for Portland Trail Blazer guard Derek Anderson.
As PEs, none of these initialled pairs will release to the public, but you can expect the Air Jordan 3 'Katrina' to hit retailers on May 12.
