Jordan Brand Embellish a Beloved AJ6 for Chinese New Year
will celebrate Chinese New Year with a special edition retro release, this time reviving 2006's beloved grail. Leaked images reveal the Jumpman's 2018 CNY design, which appears to be a highly embellished version of the 'Defining Moments' pack's AJ6.
Slight differences from the original design are noticeable, such as the use of leather overlays in place of nubuck and a red Jumpman on the outsole instead of gold – although the most glaring difference is the abundance of ornate embroidery all over the upper! These decorative details will no doubt leave Jordan fans divided.
