Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo was on hand last night to witness LeBron James's Lakers debut as the King dropped 26 in a losing effort in Portland. And on Lorenzo's feet? None other than the previously unseen black colourway of his upcoming Air Fear of God colab with Nike.
The black kicks are set to join the 'Light Bone' version of the drop later this year, and were designed in conjunction with Nike design director Leo Chang — with whom Lorenzo was sitting courtside and the man long behind Kevin Durant's signature line. As expected, the kicks echo the look of their 'Light Bone' counterpart and couple a high-top boot-like upper with bold lacing, an external toe cap, a moulded cage that wraps around the heel, and an Air Max 180-inspired Air bubble.
Stay tuned for a closer look at the kicks and, in the meantime, catch a glimpse via Lorenzo's Instagram. The kicks are reportedly set for a December 4 release for $395 USD.
