Let’s face it — you can’t have a hot dog without the ‘big three’: ketchup, mustard, and relish. J. Crew and New Balance prescribe to this theory, using yellow nubuck (mustard) as the backdrop, adding red (ketchup) accents on the tongue and toebox. Not to be forgotten, bright green (relish) hits the midfoot NB logo and the front of the midsole for that extra tang. Rounding things out, grey accents on the heel cage/midfoot and a white Abzorb midsole bring some balance.
