Drake's dealings with Jordan Brand look to be rapidly falling apart and (sadly) that means a number of an unreleased collaborations are rumoured to go down with it. One such colab is the splattered Air Jordan 4 above.
The colab is reportedly based on an unreleased AJ4 concept from 1989. It bears an unmistakable resemblance to the 'Bred' AJ4s with the exception of a few minor colour swaps and one very distinct difference: the use of splatter print on the heel and midsole.
So what makes it a Drake colab? You'll have to look a bit closer to find out why — the OVO owl logo is concealed behind the heel tab in gold.
The Air Jordan 4 'Splatter' is rumoured for release in 2019, but if Drake's Jordan Brand partnership has fallen apart as it seems, we can expect the OVO branding to be removed.
