Huichol X Vault By Vans Capsule Collection
The Huichol tribe from the Western Central Highlands of Mexico have lived relatively isolated from the modern world, retaining customs that have been passed on throughout the centuries; most famously their embroidery, beadwork and yarn paintings. Vans have managed to work together with the Huichol tribe for this very special collaboration releasing under their Vault banner. Enlisting their famous talents to embellish checkered and , the end result is a collection that not only looks absolutely striking, but is also a testament to the cultural importance of the Huichol customs. Considering that this collection was hand-customised over a ten month process, it's understandable that only 360 pairs will be made available worldwide.
