If it wasn’t obvious already, this should serve as confirmation that Vetements aren’t trying to hide the fact that they’re copycatting. Recently we saw their takes on the classic Converse All-Star and adidas Stan Smith — and now, with this latest release, it’s easy to guess where the brand found inspiration.
Crafted in Italy, the Vetements ‘Slip-on Low-top Trainer’ features a white elasticated strip positioned between black and red Houndstooth-printed panels. Vetements branding is found on the side panel tag and heel, while a thick white midsole completes the recognisable aesthetic.
Part of the Vetements Spring/Summer 2018 footwear collection, you can cop them now at matchesfashion.com for $889 USD.
