Sick of maximalist Maxes? Hathenbruck have the cure for what ails you. Rather than follow the footsteps of those adding bells and whistles, the retailer delivered a VaporMax stripped bare.
It’s not an official Nike colab, and one could argue that by painting the sneaker they’re actually adding to it, but the effect is as minimal as they come. Cast in paint, the VaporMax’s only flourishes come from Swooshes outlined in red, and inner tongue tags declaring ‘Too much is the same as nothing.'
Pairs sold out quick from their store, but Hathenbruck have been quoted as saying they chose the design because it’s scalable, meaning there could be more to come.
