Life as a sneakerhead today is a little easier than it once was. Thanks to the glorious creation that is the internet, just about any pair of kicks you could possibly imagine is only a click away. Two decades ago, long before the introduction of the modern sneaker boutique, things used to a be a little different. Ask any true OG head what it was like scrounging for pairs back in the early '90s and they will hit you with stories to rival the exploits of Indiana Jones himself – exploring the darkest corners of sports stores far and wide in hope of unearthing some long stashed away gems. It wasn't just the collectors faced with this challenge however. Before becoming known on the international stage for having one of the best sneaker spots in the world, the boys over at were faced with this very challenge to keep their shelves stocked with killer retro proddy, exploring backrooms from Aberdeen to LA and everywhere in between. In recognition of the Scots' valiant efforts, have produced a two-shoe pack inspired by this bygone era in sneaker culture. The 'Adventure Pack' consists of two classic runner models – the and the – that have been stripped of their TPU components and styled in premium fashion. Constructed from rich nubuck, the grey and blue XS850 is a reference to Hanon's original focus on skate culture in the early '90s, as expressed through the 'Flame n' Bones' multi print on the inner lining. The XT2+, with its lush pig skin upper, represent Hanon's globetrotting exploits with a colourway that manages to channel both the winter gloom in Scotland and the summer sunshine in California in one tidy package. If you consider yourself an intrepid sneakerhead then be sure to get yourself a pair of these well-travelled kicks. They're available right now from Hanon and other selected Puma stockists worldwide.
