Olympic season is yet to kick off for 2016, but Hanon have already earned their wreath. The Scotland-based sneaker store has gotten together with Fred Perry and chopped up their B2 tennis model into a nautical textile-inspired sneaker. The B2 'Halley Stevensons' takes its name from a legendary Scottish textile manufacturer. Founded in 1864, Halley Stevensons started life producing sail cloth for Scottish fishing fleets. Today, more than 150 years later, the company continues to operate from the very same premises and has established itself as a world-renowned manufacturer of oiled and waxed cotton.
This Hanon x Fred Perry B2 uses Halley Stevensons' P200 Super Dry fabric in 'Blue Lagoon' over the upper, with Hanon's flame log on the heal and the Fred Perry wreath on the sides. A plush, mint green micro fibre collar can also be found lining the leather laminated footbed.
The Hanon x Fred Perry B2 'Halley Stevensons' will release through Hanon's online store on April 29.
