Diadora's latest colourway, created with German retailer , keeps the streak running hot. Turning an eye to Italy's past, The Good Will Out takes us back two millennia to Ancient Rome. Encompassing the and silhouettes, the collaboration focuses on two of the Roman Empire's most notorious emperors – Caligula and Nero.
Inspired by the debauched emperor's toga, the V7000 'Caligula' features an off-white upper made from a mix of linen, suede and pony hair, with Diadora's Quarter stripe logo rendered in cracked golden patent leather in reference to the leader's unabashed opulence.
The S8000 'Nerone' boasts a bright red leather and suede upper – a nod to the version of history that holds Nero accountable for The Great Fire of Rome – accentuated with a cracked patent leather heel that evokes glowing embers.
These special make-ups have been made in the heart of Italy with the greatest care and premium materials, including kangaroo nappa leather and picasso goat leather. Both come with debossed ancient-coin logos on the heels, as well as iconic quotes on the insoles. Each comes packaged with four sets of laces and specially themed packaging for an added dash of decadence.
