Giannis Antetokounmpo Speaks on His Debut Nike Signature Shoe
There's less than a month to go until the 2018-19 NBA season and it's anticipated to be one of the most exciting in years. has headed west, leaving an opening in the Eastern Conference for a new king to claim his throne. Milwaukee Bucks superstar is expected to be the man for the job, and he is going to be coming out guns blazing. Helping Giannis in his journey will be his debut signature sneaker, aptly named the Greek Freak 1.
While are yet to release official images of the hotly anticipated silhouette, Giannis has given us a tasty teaser in a preseason interview with . Speaking about Nike recently relaxing colourway restrictions, Giannis explained that he was going to be taking full advantage of his new freedom.
'I have a lot of things on the shoe that [are] going to be really surprising and I think we did a great job. People are going to be excited. The shoe fits into my personality,' Giannis explained. 'I am very excited about my signature shoe.'
A release date for Nike's Greek Freak 1 has yet to be announced. We'll keep you posted!
