UPDATE: And so the mythical beast emerges from the shadows once again! Since we posted the first photos back in October, these almost disappeared completely off the charts. Drop dates were set, and those dates were past with no sign of the Sock Dart. Fresh images thanks to Highsnobiety bring some new light to the situation, and if our sneaker-senses are working properly, this is a good sign of a true release to come. Please stop playing with our emotions Nike and just let these release already. Word on the street is the next couple of weeks, but stay tuned.

Hiroshi Fujiwara's  has been the bastion of clean-cut design this year. Most recently we saw that Cortez , which rightly stirred a bit of hype up, and now we get a nice surprise, with the Nike Sock Dart revived. Originally introduced in (and not seen since) 2004, the Sock Dart was the first shoe to be created with computerised knitting technology – peep the tight olive-coloured woven upper –but for us it's all about that sweet silicone strap and chunky wavy sole. Digging this. We'll bring you release info when it comes to light. Pics via NikeLab.
