Closer Look: Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3

Update March 27, 2023: Years after pictures of Hiroshi Fujuwara’s Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3 surfaced, further images this week arrived via @truesthawaii. The extremely rare sample is reportedly one of only eight to ten pairs.

At long last, we finally have a proper look at special x , courtesy of GOAT.

First on the feet of the streetwear godfather himself back in April this year, the kicks take cues from Fragment's celebrated  collaboration from 2014, and put a royal blue-based spin on the classic of the silhouette. Naturally, Fragment's signature bolt logo is embossed on the lateral side of the upper, near the heel, while prototype-style text labels the tooling – a design feature that also graced the likes of the Fragment's in 2016. Last but not least? OG 'Nike Air' branding on the heel.

Check 'em out above, but don't expect to cop anytime soon: the kicks are a sample and aren't expected to get an official release.
