Louisiana-based sneaker hub Politics will hold an unprecedented Jordan Brand x Politics block party in New Orleans on April 28. On the day, attendees can expect to see a special Politics x Air Jordan 3 release.
So far we only have this teaser image, which shows a predominantly white Air Jordan 3 silhouette with red detailing and iconic elephant-print around the heel. Not to be confused with the ‘White Cement’ or ‘Fire Red’, this latest release bares striking similarities to the previously unreleased Air Jordan 3 ‘Katrina’.
Jordan Brand created the AJ3 'Katrina' back in 2006, for a charity auction in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The 1-of-1 pair was never released to the public, and, for over a decade, sneakerheads have been yearning for a wide release. Could this be it? All signs point to yes.
More details on the Jordan Brand x Politics block party and the exclusive Air Jordan 3 will be revealed throughout the week. We’ll keep you posted.
The Jordan Brand x Politics block party will take place at 216 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA.
