Last year, Nike debuted its ground-breaking ZoomX cushioning system in the performance-geared VaporFly Elite, before adapting the tech for the street via the Vapor Street Flyknit. Continuing to cater for the urban ninjas, Nike are dropping yet another lifestyle-focussed ZoomX-infused runner — the Moon Racer is prepped and ready for launch.
The overall aesthetic is derived from a modified version of the Pre Montreal Racer. The attention-grabbing midsole from previous ZoomX releases returns, as does the oversized Swoosh on the upper. There’s also a ribbon piece at the toe, an old-school heel flap, and suede panelling on the rear. Down below, the sole unit is familiarly curvaceous and tapers towards a pointed heel.
We’ve got a look at two colourways — a black/grey and a beige/volt — but we’re yet to get any solid release info. Rumours suggest a fall drop, so stay tuned.
