In a very welcome blast from the past, éS have brought back one of the most iconic skate shoes of the mid 90s – the SLB. The pro-model of legendary switch stance pioneer and all-round style master, Sal Barbier, is back in full force. Besides being emblematic of a golden era of street skating, the hugely popular 1996 classic is notable for a number of reasons. It came as the first skate shoe to feature an internal neoprene sock, as well as possessing an instantly recognisable stitched side panel and signature tongue shield. The reissued éS SLB features a skate-ready leather and suede build, a cushy STI Open Cell insole and an ultra-durable triple stitched toe cap – it's bound to make some old knees feel like getting back on board.
Dropping in a retro green and white colourway, the reissued éS SLB is available now at select skate shops. Head to éS for stockists.
