In Game 6 of the 1998 Finals, with seven seconds left on the clock and the Chicago Bulls one point down, Michael Jordan took one of the most legendary shots in NBA history. From just inside the three-point line, Jordan sank a shot to secure victory – winning not only the game, but also the 98 Championship and Chicago's second three-peat. The historic play was also the GOAT's last with the Bulls, earning it the nickname 'The Last Shot.'
On MJ's feet that night were all-new Air Jordan 14s in jet black with hits of red and yellow – a colourway that was quickly dubbed 'Last Shot'. Retroed in 2005 and again in 2011, the legendary Air Jordan 14 make-up is set to return in 2018. It's unknown at this stage whether the release will be a straight retro or modified from its original appearance, but reports are rolling in that the AJ14 'Last Shot' will hit shelves in June next year to coincide with the 20-year anniversary of the iconic play.
Jordan Brand are yet to officially comment on the 2018 retro of the Air Jordan 14 'Last Shot', but if the rumours are true, it's likely we will see a release on or near June 14.
