It was all the way back in January, 2014 that Drake hinted that he would be releasing a collection of OVO-certified kicks in collaboration with Jordan Brand. Images of four different shoes were shared on the October's Very Own blog, consisting of both black and white 'Stingray' make-ups of the Air Jordan 10 and Air Jordan 12. It wasn't until July 2015 that we would see the first from this pack receive an official drop but since then we have seen three of the four OVO Jays hit stores – leaving only the Air Jordan 12 OVO 'Black Stingray' absent. Both Drizzy and Jordan Brand have remained quiet on a possible release for the final member of this quartet, but now rumours are suggesting that, like the Air Jordan 10 OVO 'Black Stingray' that dropped on All-Star Weekend earlier this year, its AJ12 equivalent will be dropping this February on 2017's All-Star Weekend.
The Air Jordan 12 'Black Stingray' features a blacked-out soft nubuck upper with a matching high-gloss stingray mudguard. Low-key gold OVO details complete this colab. Check out our up-close preview for a better look.
A February release date for the Drake x Air Jordan 12 OVO 'Black Stingray' is only rumoured at this stage. We'll keep you posted as soon as official details emerge.
