New Balance Numeric keep goin’ from strength to strength, following up their recent signing of skate phenom Tiago Lemos with a limited edition 255 and 659 collaboration alongside Thailand skateboard stalwarts Preduce.
The Bangkok-based store have held NB’s skate offshoot close their heart for years, with local sponsored riders Jasper Dohrs, Joseph Sirinut, Boss Smit and Demit Cuevas all proud members of the Numeric team. Now, to celebrate the ongoing partnership, Preduce are paying homage to their heritage with a patriotic pack inspired by traditional Thai pillows.
Created with feedback from the team riders who all grew up skating in the late 90s, Preduce revive the concept of having one pair to skate in and another to chill in, landing on the low-cut 255 and 659 silhouettes. The 255 is the archetypal all-day skate shoe designed with a durable vulcanized sole, while the 659 packs in a REVLite midsole for recovery and relaxation after the thrash.
Dropping alongside matching apparel and skate deck, the Preduce x New Balance Numeric ‘Thai Pillow’ 255 arrives on December 14 at Preduce and select skate shops, as well as New Balance. Meanwhile, the 659 will be strictly limited to just 100 pairs worldwide, releasing on the same day exclusively at the Preduce store and webstore.
