Don C Revives the Converse ERX

Just Don Converse Erx Off White

Just Don Converse Erx Red

is a long-time collaborator but now that lives at House Swoosh, he has a whole new set of toys to play with. And play he did.

Digging deep into the toy chest that is Converse's back catalogue, the Chicago native pulled out ERX-260 and reworked it for the 21st century. The shoe was originally released in 1988 and worn by Magic Johnston and, with its sky-high ankle and complex panelling, looks every bit the 80s shoe. Don C has used that to his advantage, laying textures of off-white pony hair and satin for an ultra-luxe look. The three-strong collection is completed by red and black leather versions that each sport their own lavish details and ‘Dons’ logos replacing the Cons branding.

No solid date yet but watch for the collection to drop in the holiday season.
