This is almost too ridiculous to be true: a store in LA got a pair of ‘Gold Toe’ Jays with the Swoosh sewn upside down. As hard as it is to imagine this getting through QC, it’s even harder to imagine how this could possibly happen within the highly mechanised production facilities that churn these things out. Could we be seeing a return of the controversial sneakers?
Well, as sceptical as we are, the shoes have come out of a store called Cool Kicks LA, and it’s even harder to imagine that a legit business would put their name on the line for a media stunt. They’ve listed the ugly ducklings on eBay and the bidding is going nuts – $15k and counting! The world has gone mad!
