Craig Green and Nike Reveal a Choppy React
have been letting their collaborators run wild recently! Craig Green’s latest runway show at Pitti Uomo 94 was a colourful display of somewhat abstract pieces, but what really blew our mind was the React-based Nike colab.
The design looks as though it might have been piece together from cutting room scraps, but upon closer inspection, it shows a nuanced understanding of both form and function. A series of overlapping straps add support to the Flyknit upper in all the right places, while the run-out lace-loop webbing acts both as a bold visual element and a heel support.
