One of the most iconic moments in NBA playoff history inspired this commemorative High: Julius ‘Dr. J’ Erving’s miraculous ‘scoop’ layup from the 1980s Finals series against the Lakers.

Part of the 16-shoe ‘Art of a Champion’ collection, the Pro Leather ‘The Scoop’ features a classic white leather upper with a red chevron on the side panel. Red and gold are used for the collar detailing and Converse branding on the heel.

Representing the 16 playoff wins needed to secure an NBA Championship, gold tally marks are etched into the lateral side of each shoe. The tally mark graphic returns on the right-side insole, while NBA Finals branding is found on the left. Gold ‘1980’ dubraes complete the look.

The Converse Pro Leather ‘The Scoop’ is set to release April 19 on Nike.com for $110 USD.
