Converse Lucky Star Goes Leopard

Date: July 21 2019

By: Cesca Benson

Converse are known for infusing their shoes with a healthy dash of heritage, and the Lucky Star has it in spades. Debuting in 1967 as an alternative to the Chuck Taylor, it retains that place in the Converse arsenal to this day.

It wears a heritage Converse badge on the ankle, retro-tinged license plate, and textured foxing, and now it’s swathed in leopard print. The canvas upper is covered in the animal motif, while tonal detail arrives via an off-white toe cap and midsole.
