Converse have rushed headlong into the rising storm this season and things are about to get wild. Kicking on from their new Shield Canvas Chuck, the introduction of the Counter Climate Rubber Collection gives us a whole new weapon with which to battle the elements.
The collection contains three colours of the Chuck Taylor All Star II Rubber – as well as rubberised apparel – which have been treated to withstand the rains. The classic styled silhouette has been wrapped with a rubber overlay to repel water and keep your feet snug, while still retaining the arsenal of extras the Chuck II offers, such as the Lunarlon sockliner and micro-perf leather lining. Not only does the construction mean your feet stay safe from the elements, it keeps the air moving so the shoe can breath and retain warmth using a special layer in the footbed. If you’ll excuse us, we’re off to find a puddle to stomp in.
You can pick up the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Rubber from September 1 at Converse stores, as well as on their web store.
