UPDATE: Previously thought to be a shout out to Hawthorne, California, it has since been revealed that these top-tier have been created for one of team riders, Louie Lopez. With the new information comes the assurance that – since they're made for skate – the shoes are built with materials you can thrash the hell out of without tarnishing them beyond repair.

Notable for being the hometown of the Beach Boys and SpaceX, the sunny city of Hawthorne, California can now add a Pro Hi tribute to its resume. The shoe honours the district with a map of the area on the inner tongue, which is overlayed with a badge sporting a vintage woody wagon with a longboard on its roof. A ‘Buff’ cream covers the suede upper, and the All Star patch has been carefully embroidered.
