Concepts X New Balance 575 (M-80)

Independence Day, held on the Fourth of July, is a big deal in the USA. It’s a family day where BBQ, beer and hot dog eating contests bring everybody together, then in the evening, firework displays light up the night sky. Boston’s store has taken all of that on board to cosign their version of New Balance’s . Named in honour of the notorious ‘M-80’ red cracker that is pretty much illegal across the US, the shoe has been slapped with a patchwork quilt in a good ole red, white and blue scheme. In lieu of a patriotic ‘Stars & Stripes’ motif, Concepts have wrangled washed-out tones of dirty denim with a bandanna flavour, complemented by an explosion of natural suede. Look out for these July 1st. Bang, bang!
