Concepts X ASICS Gel Lyte III

Since its establishment in 1996, Concepts has always represented the Boston manor. Approached to join ASICS in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Gel-Lyte III runner, the store looked deep into their own Beantown background for meaningful inspiration. The result is a subtle nod to local history. Red coat long-haired suede is laid down side-by-side with blue coat mesh, flecked hiking laces and a neutral serving of natural perf-suede. The real visual stimulus is the asymmetrical formstripes – the medial side shines in silver, while the lateral view glimmers in opulent gold. Out May 2.
