Ahead of the rumoured drop for the next month, and Boston's have revealed another collaborative endeavour: a special take on 's signature .

Dubbed the 'Ikhet', the special colab takes cues from Irving's Hamsa hand tattoo. Instead of merely replicating the tatt (which figures prominently in the Kyrie 5's heel counter and box designs), Concepts' Creative Director Deon Point dove into the history of the ancient Egyptian pyramids.

'I found out the mortar used remains a mystery to scientists — they still can't figure how it stuck together, but it's some of the strongest stuff ever made,' explains Point. 'I learned that the limestone glowing in the sun made the pyramids glow brighter than a diamond. And one thing that really got me: there was a 20-ton door on one of the pyramids that was so precise, you can’t squeeze a credit card through the seams — but it can be opened with one hand.'

The resulting kicks sport details like a bright red tongue — a nod to what experts say the Sphinx's nose looked like prior to degradation — and a purple sole inspired by the colour of the sunset against the pyramids. Naturally, Concepts branding also hits the kicks, appearing on the midfoot overlay of the right shoe.

The reveal coincides with a special Concepts-set episode of Sneaker Shopping as Kyrie talks signature kicks, his love for SBs, and more.

The episode can be viewed below in its entirety, while the collaborative 'Ikhet' is due out on December 26.
