Concepts Demonstrate Dad Style Done Right
is the quintessential dad shoe. Not only has it been their highest selling sneaker for years, it’s also remained essentially unchanged. But now the Monarch has broken from the shackles of middle-aged consumer staple to aim for a younger crowd.
Despite suggestions to the contrary, it’s beginning to look like the Monarch is the real deal. The collaborators have kept things simple, swapping out the usual leather for black suede across the upper, while the outsole has been gripped in gum. Even the most ardent slim-sneaker fans will have to admit that this is a much more appealing prospect than the white leather version that your dad wears to mow the lawn.
