Coming Soon: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Shield

We previewed a Shield edition of the last week, and it looks like the is joining the ranks. Despite not sharing the same shroud and ankle guard as the Turbo, this Pegasus still has Nike’s weather-resistant treatment.

The sides of the upper are made from textured material, which helps keep water out. Bonded seams also assist with this, as stitched seams would allow water to creep right in. The runner is still breathable however, with an airy mesh toebox that appears to be treated with DWR.

The Northern Hemisphere will get some good winter miles out of these when they release on October 31 at retailers like SNS. By the way, these are in women’s sizes.
