Calico Jack x Mizuno Wave Creation Waveknit Drops Today
Dutch retailer are celebrating their 6th birthday with a collaborative project on the Wave Creation Waveknit.
The radically designed running shoe from the Japanese company is rendered in all-white, removing all coloured distractions. What becomes apparent is the complex and structured finish of the sneaker, ‘the combination of soft and hard materials, the use of geometric forms on an organically knitted upper’, according to Calico Jack’s .
They are right though: making a shoe monochromatic really brings out its design aspects and accentuates the intersection between where panels start and end.
