Brain Dead X Vans Sk8-Hi

UPDATE: The drop date for the Brain Dead x Vans Sk8-Hi is coming up quick. The Dover Street Market exclusive features three tonal checkerboard sneakers: green, black and a previously unseen off-white iteration. Hang on until January 14, they're coming.

Brain Dead take the iconic and rework it in two tonal colourways. In a unique move, the recoginisable checkerboard pattern gets applied across the entire upper – including the Jazz Stripe – in a rubber overlay. This fortifying treatment adds a textural element and likely increases durability. Each piece bears a ‘Stamp out reality’ tagline across the vulcanised wrap, while the upper is finished with a woven collar logo.

The Brain Dead x Vans Sk8-Hi will drop on January 14 at Dover Street Market's New York and London locations.
