and running shoes aren’t exactly familiar terms. We’re more accustomed to seeing everyday chillers or skate-ready sneaks from the waffle sole dons. Striding ever so slightly in a different direction, the brand has recently given birth to the cushy retro-styled silhouette.
Vans has teamed up with Berkley boutique, Bows and Arrows, to release a version decked out in shaggy synthetic pony hair. The sneaker boasts white leather lining and powder pink Ultracush insoles all atop a toothed outsole. The playful take on the Runner is sure to appeal to both equine fans and lovers of Ginuwine’s 1996 opus, 'Pony'.
The Bows and Arrows x Vans Vault Runner will drop exclusively at in-store on June 25, remaining stock will be available online the following day.
